It is no secret that installing wind deflectors will result in considerable savings on your fuel bill. Not all wind deflectors are created equal though, and not all trucks are of the same dimensions.
The best results are accomplished when the wind deflector can be adjusted to the height of the van body. Our wind deflector is designed to fit the cab of your Kenworth K and Peterbilt K, and is adjustable in height to fit your van body. Being custom made also results in easy and quick installation, using existing mounting points, without the need to cut or drill holes.
The side skirts will also follow the exact contour of the cab, and will close in the gap between the van body and the cab for even greater aerodynamic efficiency. If you are looking for a factory fit and finish with an OEM quality, look no further, our wind deflector is what you need.
SLEEPER CAB CONVERSIONS
We have two types of aftermarket sleeper cabs available to convert you Peterbilt or Kenworth from a day cab to a sleeper cab.
The sleepers are completely designed to install in an efficient and OEM style fashion. Once installed the finished product looks very much like it rolled just off the factory line! The fact that the sleeper cabs are supplied in the same colour as your day cab is delivered in even eliminates the need to repaint the completed assembly.
SPACE CAB - The Spacecab will allow the conversion of your regular Peterbilt or Kenworth cabover day cab to a Sleeper cab for one driver. The size of the bunk exceeds the minimum requirements of the DOT in order to qualify as a sleeper cab. Under the gas strut supported folding bunk you will find a nicely three nicely finished storage compartments, as well as a sectioned off area destined for installation of a night bunk heater.
The sleeper comes with full wrap around curtains, and all the trim to finish the installation to an OEM comparable level. All the upholstery matches with the factory upholstery, and the sleeper cab comes with reading lights and an optional sunroof that can be opened for extra ventilation. Drivers will also appreciate the fact that the seats will be able to recline further than usual.
The added weight for the sleeper is only 100 kg (220 lbs) all installed, and does not require any changes to the cab suspension or chassis. The cab comes with fender extensions to match the factory fenders, and we have a selection of air deflectors and side skirts available that are custom made to fit your Spacecab!
SUPER SPACE CAB - The Super Space Cab will allow the conversion of your regular Peterbilt or Kenworth cabover day cab to the ultimate two person Sleeper. The size of each of the two bunks exceeds the minimum requirements of the DOT in order to qualify as a sleeper cab.
This conversion consists of a two piece extension. One piece extends the day cab to the back, creating a lower bunk, and the second piece is made to fit above the extension as well as the existing roof. This will create enough space to allow for a second bunk as well as for additional storage cabinets. The bottom bed is hinged and supported by gas struts in order to easily access the nicely finished storage compartments, as well as the sectioned off area for the night bunk heater.
The sleeper comes with full wrap around curtains, and all the trim to finish the installation to a OEM level. The added weight for the sleeper is approximately 200kg (440lbs) all installed, and requires only minor changes to the cab suspension, and no modifications to the truck chassis. The cab comes with fender extensions to match the factory fenders, and the cab extension is shaped in such a way that there is no need for air deflectors or side skirts. The finished width and height of the Super Space Cab will create a very aerodynamically shaped truck, matching up perfectly with any standard truck body.
At home, you don't turn on the heat with the doors open... but when you are in the temperature controlled transportation business that is exactly what you are doing whenever you have to make a delivery! Each time when you back into a loading dock, or when you are making a delivery, the back doors are
opened, and your cargo is instantaneously exposed to whatever the temperature is outside. In the summer your frozen cargo is exposed to sweltering heat, and in the winter your cold sensitive, heated cargo is blasted with cold air the minute the doors open.
What to do about it? Loading and off loading requires the doors to be opened on an ongoing basis, at times more then 20 or 30 times a day. Our energy curtain will create a barrier to prevent your cargo from being exposed to the elements longer than necessary. Each time you want to enter the cargo compartment, the curtain will open a specified time, just long enough to put a pallet on, or take a delivery off, all while maintaining the right temperature in the cargo compartment.
The savings in diesel fuel alone will be a good return of investment, and just the fact that you can prevent temperature related claims makes this a great accessory to your reefer truck.

Have you ever been out on roads that were so slippery you could not get going from a standstill? You know the scenario, the secondary roads are not plowed, the snow is packed down to ice, and the result is a very slippery surface. This happens more and more, in residential areas as well as in large industrial parks. A lot of industrial property managers also fail to properly sand the loading docks and entry ways, creating situations where a truck can not leave once done.
If you are in the situation where you have to make deliveries or pick ups in areas like that, the SLIREJ sand spreader might just be the solution to your problems. This system has proven itself for over 40 years in Scandinavia, where the weather conditions are very similar to those in Canada and the northern parts of the US. The SLIREJ sand spreader lets you apply a trace of sand right in front of the traction tires, enough to provide you the traction needed to take off! The SLIREJ sand spreader will mount in such a way that you can still put snow chains on the drive axle. On slippery, icy surfaces you may opt to apply sand, and when snow chains are mandatory the SLIREJ sand spreader will not be in the way.
Installation of the sand spreader is very straight forward, and can easily be done by any local truck body shop. All that is needed is an airline from the air tanks of the truck, and a solenoid valve to activate the air supply.
There are no vulnerable electronics or electrical systems that can corrode or break down. The sand reservoir is fully hot dip galvanized to withstand corrosion, and a shiny stainless steel version is available for those that want their truck to be of show quality all the way around.
