SpaceCab or Super SpaceCab?

We have two different types of sleeper conversions available: SpaceCab and Super SpaceCab. Both are designed and built specifically for your Peterbilt or Kenworth – allowing you to convert your day cab to a sleeper cab for one, or even two people! These conversions look completely factory and install using OEM materials and methods. We can even match the colour of your existing cab to the new converted sleeper! Drivers will also appreciate the fact that the seats will be able to recline further than usual.

The SpaceCab is designed for one person, and built to exceed the size requirements of the D.O.T. in order to qualify as a sleeper cab. It is designed to attach to the rear of the existing cab and extend rear-wards. Under the folding bunk (supported by gas strut) you will find a nicely finished storage compartment with three separate sections. It also has a specific compartment to ad a bunk heater! The added weight of the sleeper is only about 220lbs (100kg) – meaning there is no need to make any costly changes to the factory cab and chassis suspension. We even have custom air deflectors and side skirts available made to fit your custom SpaceCab.

The Super SpaceCab is designed to be the ultimate sleeper for 2 people, and is built to exceed the size requirements of the D.O.T. in order to qualify as a sleeper cab. This conversion consists of a rear cab extension as well as a roof extension. The first piece extends the day cab to the back, creating a lower bunk. The second piece is made to fit above the existing roof, as well as above the lower extension, to create the upper bunk area. This also allows for some extra storage room and a specific compartment for the bunk heater. The added weight of the Super SpaceCab is approximately 440lbs (200kgs) – meaning it requires only minor changes to the cab suspension, and no modifications to the truck chassis.

Both sleeper conversions come with full wrap-around curtains as well as all the trim to finish the installation to an OEM level. All new upholstery matches the factory upholstery, and the sleeper cab

even comes with reading lights. An optional sunroof that can be opened for extra ventilation is also available.
